Cooked Orange Icing
Ingredients
- 1 cup Sugar, Granulated
- 1/4 cups Cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
- 1 cup Orange Juice
- 2 Tablespoons Orange Peel, Grated, (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
Directions
Combine sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan.Add lemon and orange juice slowly and stir until smooth.
Add remaining ingredients.
Cook, stirring frequently over low heat until thick and glossy.
Cool and spread on cake.
