Hermits Or Health Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 c. butter
- 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 2 Large eggs, beaten
- 3 c. sifted flour
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 c. buttermilk, or possibly sour lowfat milk
- 2 c. oatmeal
- 1 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. nuts, minced
Directions
Mix butter and sugar together.Add in Large eggs and oatmeal, then add in flour alternately with sour lowfat milk.
Add in raisins and nuts.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 min.
