Boil up honey, sugar & spices Cool and when cool enough, add melted butter, beaten eggs Add bicarb mixed with a little cold water Add flour in aliquots Allow to stand overnight Divide into 2 portions and roll out approximately 2mm thick Place one portion on a greased swiss roll pan Spread filling over first layer, then sandwich with the other dough portion rolled out Press down a little and prick with a fork Bake at 180 for 25 minutes When cold, cut into squares.
Coat all over like a petit four if you can with glace chocolate icing.
Roll in nuts to finish
