Blue-Cheese Meat Loaf
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 medium onion, chopped,
- 1 green pepper, chopped,
- 12 cup chili sauce
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1 12 lbs beef, ground
- 14 lb sweet Italian sausage
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 12 teaspoon sage
- 12 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 14 teaspoon pepper
- 2 cups dry breadcrumbs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 34 cup crumbled blue cheese

Directions
Heat the butter in a large skillet and add the onion and green pepper, saute' for 5 minutes.Add 1/4 cup of the chili sauce and water, cook for 4 minutes more.
Pour the mixture into a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.
Mix the remaining 1/4 cup chili sauce with the rest of the ingredients in a large bowl.
Mix well and add into the loaf pan on top of the onion and green pepper.
Bake in a preheated oven @375 for about 1 1/2 hours.
