Chunky Spiced Oatmeal Cookies
- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 14 cup brown sugar
- 14 cup molasses
- 12 cup Splenda sugar substitute, (if you prefer) or 12 cup real sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 12 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 1 12 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 12 teaspoons nutmeg
- 1 12 teaspoons allspice
- 1 14 cups oats
- 23 cup raisins
- 23 cup flax seed
- 23 cup or whole pecans, chopped
DirectionsMix apple sauce, brown sugar, molasses, Splenda (or real sugar) and vanilla.
Beat egg separately and add to sugar mixture.
In a separate bowl combine all remaining dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, oats, raisins, flax seed and pecans.
Combine the wet mixture with the dry mixture and blend well.
Drop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake in preheated oven@ 350F for 10 minutes.
