Candy Cane Kiss Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 2/3 cup peanut butter
- 1 red sprinkles
- 24 candy cane kisses
- 1/2 cup shortening
Directions
preheat oven to 375 & parchment line a baking sheet cream together shortening, & sugars till creamy.add in pb, egg, milk & vanilla extract cream really well.
add flour, salt & baking powder to a bowl mix & incorporate to pb mix.
once combined make round lil balls as desired roll in red sprinkles & bake 8-10 minutes let cool atleast 2-3minutes then gently push down candy kiss to middle.
your cookies will look cracked on sides that's the effect you want.
