Grandma C. Meifert Strawberry Sundae Pie Recipe

Directions

Mix berries with sugar and lemon juice and let stand.
Soak gelatin in water.
Beat Large eggs, sugar and salt.
Add in lowfat milk and water and cook in double boiler till thick and creamy.
Remove from stove and add in gelatin.
Cold.
When it is ready to set, beat it till it is frothy and mix in the strawberry mix.
Pour this into a baked pie shell.
Chill.
When ready to serve, cover with sweetened whipped cream and decorate with a few whole berries, if you like.
