Ham and Pineapple Sandwiches

Preheat the broiler to high.
Place the bread on a baking sheet and place under the broiler for 2 to 3 minutes on each side, or until lightly browned.
(This can also be done in a toaster.
) Place a piece of ham on each piece of bread and top with a pineapple ring and a piece of cheese.
Place the pan under the broiler and cook for 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and begins to brown.
(Watch them carefully because they can go from brown to black quickly.
) Remove the pan from the broiler, cut each sandwich diagonally into 4 pieces, and place on a serving platter.
