Chocolate Chip Cookies



Heat oven to 375F.
Beat butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy.
Mix in flour, baking soda and salt.
Stir in chips and nuts.
Drop by teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from cookie sheets.
Cool on wire racks.
Variation: Bar Cookies: Spread dough in greased foil-lined 15x10x-1-inch baking pan.
Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool in pan.
Lift out of pan; remove foil.
Cut into bars.
Store in airtight container.
