Grown Up Pink Lemonade



For the sweet and sour (bar) mix: In a medium saucepan, heat water until nearly boiling.
Add sugar and stir until dissolved.
Remove from heat and allow to cool.
In a 32 oz.
airtight container, combine the simple syrup and lemon and lime juices and store in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 months.
You can extend the life of your sweet and sour mix for much longer by adding about 2 oz.
of vodka.
For the pink lemonade: In a cocktail shaker or glass, combine sweet and sour mix, vodka and grenadine and shake or stir well.
Pour drink over ice and top with club soda, lightly stirring club soda through the drink.
