Programming TV codes

Note: if you are going to program a second TV on the AUX button, program the AUX button first, preceding all codes below with a 'zero' as four digits are required on the AUX button. On most remotes, the TV button must be Direct Entry programmed with 222 before AUX can be used.

Direct Entry: Note, if you have a TV/VCR combo other than a sharp, Power and Channel control may be achieved by using the VCR codes and programming the VCR button instead.  Otherwise, program the TV button using the following codes by brand, first holding down the TV button until all four lights are illuminated.  Enter in the code of choice followed by the # key.  The remote will confirm by blinking 3 times.

Code Search:  Note, if you have a JVC or Sharp TV, I do not recommend using this method as you will likely experience partial compatibility on volume(Sharp) or channel keypad(JVC). Should you prefer to perform a code search.  Turn on your TV.  Press and hold the TV button until all four lights are illuminated.  Enter 222#.  The remote will blink 3 times.  Again, press and hold the TV button until all four lights are illuminated.  Press and release the power button.  Now begin repetitively pressing the Channel-Up key until your TV goes off.  Press the # key to store the code.
